	Infant and Pre-Toddler Care The Cornerstone Private School's infant and pre-toddler rooms provide your infant with a safe and loving environment. Teachers of this age group provide music during play and nap time. Infants are also given an opportunity to communicate through infant sign language, starting about six (6) months. Infant parents are encouraged to work closely with the infant room teachers to provide a consistent and stable transition for the infant between daycare and home. The type of care, schedule and requirements for items such as food and clothing may vary according to each child's age.	Toddler to 3's Programs Our toddler to 3 years old programs offer a wide variety of activities: story time, arts & crafts, and free play. During these years, your child will be encouraged to join group activities, but will also be given many oportunities to develop a positive sense of self & independence.

Pre-K Program Pre-K emphasis is placed on imaginative play, cognitive development, physical activity, and social interactions. Fun and exciting classroom settings encourage your child to develop a positive attitude toward learning. Our curriculum covers the basics of colors, shapes, numbers & letter recognition.
	School-Age Programs During the school year, The Cornerstone Private School provides a change of pace for school age children from the formal environment of the public school classroom. This is an age when friendships are learned through cooperation and manipulative materials. Indoor and outdoor play provide the outlet that children need to balance the pressure and quiet of a school's formal setting. A quiet area is set aside for those youngsters who wish to complete their school assignments before they leave for home.
