Age-Appropriate Programs

	PROGRAMS In today’s world it is essential for children to have every educational advantage. Our curriculum, Your Baby Can Read®, begins in our infant room and continues with our toddlers. 2’s through Pre-K use the Bright Stars Curriculum. We also offer Spanish, French, German, Italian, computer training, beginning yoga, athletic classes, and dance. We want every child to reach their full potential, expand their imagination, and excel in everything they do. Our goal is for all our little stars to have bright futures.	COMMUNICATION Communication is an important skill for all children. We begin teaching infant sign language at approximately six months of age. Due to our early reading program, you’re child’s vocabulary will expand exponentially giving them an increased advantage in social interactions. Communication and positive social interactions are the basis for forming positive sense of self, enabling your child to feel comfortable in any situation.
CURRICULUM Our curriculum is based on scientific fact. Your Baby Can Read® was created by Dr. Robert C. Titzer. We follow Dr. Titzer’s reading plan and also use the Bright Stars Curriculum, a combination of art, science, math, and creative play activities to ensure that your child receives an education suited to their individual learning styles. At Cornerstone we will engage all your child’s senses during the learning process. By doing so, we capture the imagination and potential of the three different types of learning styles: visual learners, auditory learners, and tactile learners.
	HEALTH In order to give your child every opportunity to maintain his/her health, we offer nutritious, heart healthy meals and snacks. We have four playground areas and a gym so that your child can be active during his/her day. We believe it is our responsibility to provide the best, comprehensive approach to education in a loving environment so that your child is guided to success. We realize that the infants and children of today will become the leaders in the workforce of tomorrow. It is our hope and our goal that all our little stars will have bright futures.
